Manchester Beer Week and MancMade are on the lookout for photographers with a keen eye for beer.
This year’s festival is keen to celebrate beer’s relationship with art, so we’ve teamed up with MancMade to launch a competition to discover what image you feel best captures Manchester’s beer scene.
Whether its an old pub, a half-drunk pint, a crowded bar, a pub dog, a mash tun or even a bottle enjoyed in the comfort of your own home, we want you to submit your best pictures.
You don’t have to be from Manchester to enter – or even a professional photographer – as long as you submit a picture that captures Manchester and its bars, pubs, breweries or beer.
A panel of judges will then select 12 finalists and the pictures will be printed, framed and displayed at two venues that are quintessentially Mancunian, The Brink and The Gaslamp, throughout Manchester Beer Week. From there, it is up to the public to check out the pictures and vote for their winner online here
The winner will receive a bunch of goodies, featuring beer and merchandise, as well as a full page featuring their photo in the programme for next year’s Manchester Beer Week.
The public will also be able to bid on the final 12 pictures via a silent auction. Simply leave your name, contact details and bid at the bar in the venue where the picture is featured.
All money raised will go to Mustard Tree, the chosen charity of Manchester Beer Week 2018.
